After the recent layoffs at Martindale owner Lexis Nexis, and the repositioning of the business (Does Martindale as we knew it still exist?), changes are afoot at fellow legal publishing giant, Thomson Reuters.
The company’s legal president Mike Suchsland, based in Eagan, Minnesota, is leaving the company to be replaced by Susan Taylor Martin.
According to Twin Cities Business, Thomson Reuters informed some Minnesota employees this week that their jobs will be eliminated as part of a companywide reduction.
Eagan is the headquarters for the legal division, which has 7,000 workers and accounts for a quarter of the company’s revenue.
The latest layoffs comes after a previous announcement in late October that 3,000 staff would be made redundant across Thomson Reuters.
