Last month The Lawyer announced that its division catering to law firm management and operations, which was launched two years ago, has been renamed The Lawyer Business Leadership.
Editor Matt Byrne said in an email announcement:
“The growing pace of operational developments in the legal market over the past few months have convinced us that the time is right to build on the success of The Lawyer Management. Our decision to rebrand, refresh and overhaul The Lawyer Management has been specifically designed to underline our focus on business services leadership.”
As well as a regular stream of news and features on The Lawyer media platforms, there is an annual event called The Lawyer Business Leadership Summit and Awards.
Of interest to legal marketers are awards categories such as best business development team, best marketing and communications team, best marketing and communications campaign, and best legal brand.
Further awards categories recognize talent in legal HR, training, recruitment, IT, and knowledge management.
The deadline to submit for this year’s awards is May 15 2015, and the event itself is held in London on Wednesday, September 23 2015.
The awards bash takes place immediately after a two-day conference focused on law firm management.
