Legal title The Lawyer has released its second annual Asia Pacific 150 – a ranking of the largest law firms by lawyer numbers across the Asia Pacific region.
According to reporter Yun Kriegler, who has done some good analysis and data crunching, growth across the international firms in Asia Pacific has slowed – The Lawyer’s data shows that almost half of this year’s largest 50 international firms saw a reduction in lawyer numbers – while domestic firms increased lawyer headcount by 12 per cent in 2013.
Below is a snippet of the tables – the top 10 local and international law firms in Asia – but you have to register at thelawyer.com to access the full tables and report.
For its methodology, The Lawyer sent questionnaires in March 2014 to 200 independent firms headquartered in the Asia Pacific region and 100 international firms headquartered outside the region.
