Private client work is booming at the moment.
One publication that honors the best professional advisors in this field is Spear’s.
Its annual wealth management awards are a complement to Spear’s magazine, which has been published since 2006, and serves the wealthy and the bankers, lawyers and family offices that advise them.
Stylistically, Spear’s borrows heavily from the New Yorker with its “Talk of The Town”-esque typeface, but mixes in aspects of Forbes and Vanity Fair to aim squarely at the moneyed reader.
This year’s wealth management awards are on October 27 2014 at The Savoy in London.
Among a range of categories are three Law Firm of the Year awards, for tax/trust, family, and defamation/reputation.
All three seek to recognize law firm departments that provided outstanding service during 2013-14.
Nominations close on Friday, September 12 2014.
On the editorial side, Spear’s key contacts are William Cash, editor-in-chief, and editor Josh Spero.
At the same time as the awards, Spear’s will release the Spear’s 500, a new directory-style guide to the top 500 private client advisers and wealth managers.
STEP Private Client Awards 2014/15
Also in this space, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, known as STEP, organizes an annual awards to recognize the leading private client advisors.
This year’s bash takes place at the London Hilton on Park Lane on September 17 2014
