Martindale-Nolo, the company formed by Martindale-Hubbell and Nolo.com, has launched a new “legal marketing network.”
The new service will deliver three main services: lead generation, website design and online profiles, and Ngage Live Chat.
The latter is new to me, but apparently is an Austin, Texas-based business that provides a live chat service for law firm websites.
In a statement, the company, which is now owned by Internet Brands, said:
“Martindale-Nolo integrates the deep online marketing resources and brand recognition of Martindale-Hubbell, Nolo.com, and Ngage Live Chat to help attorneys grow their businesses by increasing visibility, building credibility, and accelerating growth.
The Martindale-Nolo Legal Marketing Network takes a network of websites proven to deliver leads and combines them with the tools lawyers need — websites, social media, SEO, live chat — to convert those leads into clients.”
Historical directory giant Martindale Hubbell lined up with online marketing company Internet Brands – which owns Nolo – in 2013.
The Martindale of old still survives, but has evolved from directory listings and online profiles – its core business for decades – into more of a marketing company for smaller law firms offering web design, SEO, and lead generation.
In June 2014, private equity firm KKR bought Internet Brands from another private equity company, Hellman & Friedman, for $1.1 billion.
