A barrister has interpreted the common phrases used to describe lawyers in legal directories.
Legal Cheek ran the piece by Wigipedia, also known as Colm Nugent, a barrister at London-based Hardwicke.
Nugent offers his own definitions of some of the euphemisms and turns of phrase familiar to regular readers of legal directories.
Wigipedia’s piece inspired some additional suggestions from Twitter commentators, including one from the editor of The Lawyer, Catrin Griffiths.
