The UK’s 100 largest law firms made combined profits of £5.8 billion and billed their clients £19.1 billion in 2012-13, according to the latest annual survey of UK law firm finances published by Legal Business.
Legal Business is a London-based legal magazine that is published ten times a year by Legalease, the owner of the Legal 500 directories.
The magazine was launched in 1990 and is circulated around practicing lawyers on a subscription basis.
Something of new media late arrival, the title has recently upped its digital offering under new editor Alex Novarese, who joined from Legal Week in early 2013, with a revamped website, a lively Twitter feed, and a new iPad app.
