Legal 500 has launched a new recruitment service.
Called Legal 500 Jobs, the portal will carry listings for a range of roles across the legal sector including partners, associates, and business services such as legal marketing, PR and business development positions.
According to an announcement today, Legal 500 Jobs is now open to lawyers seeking new opportunities to upload CVs and let recruiters match them to the right jobs.
The jobs site will focus initially on the UK market, but will expand globally from September 2017.
Legal 500 has expanded beyond its flagship legal directories in recent years, and this latest service comes on top of a number of other product launches such as the Client Intelligence Report, a survey of in-house counsel, and Who Represents Who, a database of more than a million law firm client relationships.
In a recent interview, Legal 500 publishing director David Burgess explained the expansion of the Legal 500 portfolio in the context of developing more “entry points” for in-house counsel:
“While a large number of people know who we are and what we do, there are many that may not know us or understand us fully, especially as legal services become more sophisticated globally. But through these other initiatives and products, they will discover more about us, and realize the value of what we do.”
