The Legal 500 UK directory has a new editor.
John Read has joined the company, replacing former longstanding editor David Kelly, who left Legal 500 in 2013.
According to his LinkedIn bio, Mr. Read comes to Legal 500 from Reed Business Information where he was the employment law editor and wrote employment law content for human resources practitioners.
Prior to that, he was a practicing employment lawyer.
He can also be found on Twitter.
In another senior move, Legal 500 hired Catherine McGregor from Lawdragon to head up its expanding range of products and services aimed at corporate counsel.
Both of the two largest research directories now have new UK editors, after Chambers & Partners promoted Jamie Horne to Chambers UK editor in March 2014.
Legal 500 also announced through social media that it plans to refresh its website in the next few weeks.
Countdown begins: and did we mention that in 19 days, the brand new redesign of http://t.co/SaX8nMGM7h will launch?
