IFLR1000 is looking for a full time Asia Editor to conduct research into regional financial and corporate legal markets.
According to IFLR:
“This is an opportunity to join the IFLR1000 team in Hong Kong at an exciting time as IFLR1000 expands the scope of its coverage in the region and launches a new global website.
The Asia Editor will need strong organizational skills, excellent writing skills, a good telephone manner, and the ability to conduct in-depth interviews with lawyers and industry figures.
He/she must be self-motivated and have experience sourcing and writing exclusive news content to tight deadlines.
Candidates should have a strong academic record (2:1 degree or above), and a genuine interest in business journalism.
Successful applicants will: work closely with the IFLR1000 Editor, Sam Duke, to agree schedules and develop new products; work with the sales team to ensure effective development of the business; select, source, write and edit news and feature articles for the new website; manage the editorial schedule effectively against deadlines; and, oversee editorial quality and output.
The role is based in Hong Kong and involves some regional travel and a bonus scheme. Full training will be provided.”
