Clifford Chance picked up the top gong at last night’s IFLR Europe Awards – now in its fifteenth year.
As well as being named international firm of the year, the firm also won equity, project finance, and restructuring team of the year, and appeared on five winning deals.
Linklaters won the debt and equity-linked, M&A, and structured finance and securitisation team awards, and a number of its young lawyers were named rising stars.
Shearman & Sterling, Freshfields, and Kirkland & Ellis were among the other winners on the night.
International Financial Law Review covers the legal and regulatory issues faced by those operating in the financial markets, and its annual series of awards complements the company’s magazine, website and industry seminars and conferences.
The awards aim to recognize the most innovatively structured deals in areas such as M&A, capital markets, and finance.
