Research is underway for the second annual Euromoney Legal Media Group Americas Women in Business Law Awards.
According to Euromoney:
“The event recognizes the achievements of female lawyers across the Western Hemisphere working in more than two dozen practice areas, as well as firms for their programs and efforts to address issues facing women in law, such as gender diversity initiatives, flexible work schedules, mentoring and talent management.”
The Legal Media Group editorial staff is developing shortlists based on firms’ submissions about their leading female lawyers and their programs, as well as interviews with a variety of partners.
Four Euromoney Legal Media Group publications – Benchmark Litigation, International Financial Law Review, International Tax Review, and Managing Intellectual Property – also have individual awards dedicated to high-level female in-house counsel.
The black-tie ceremony to reveal the winners will be held on the evening of June 5 at the Essex House Hotel in New York’s Central Park South.
Last year’s winners can be viewed here.
For more information, contact Anne Szustek in New York.
Submissions should be sent to Vicki Taylor in London.
