The Asian legal media site, Conventus Law, recently celebrated its second birthday.
Above is a video of a cocktail reception in Hong Kong held to mark the event.
The party took place at the Maritime Museum of Hong Kong and welcomed Conventus members and friends of the company.
I wrote about Conventus Law back when it first launched, and I admire the way in which founder Stephen Lai has tried to do something different to other legal sites.
Entrepreneurialism is tough at the best of times but Stephen has successfully carved out a niche in Asia, which can be an otherwise challenging market for legal startups.
For the unfamiliar, Conventus Law is a legal networking and media platform that aims to connect in-house counsel with leading private practitioners in Hong Kong.
The site offers access to legal analysis, the ability to search for a legal advisor, and a range of videos.
The business runs on a membership model, in which subscribers can share information, post news and articles, access a referral network, and attend roundtables and seminars.
