Chambers & Partners has promoted Michael Perkin to the position of UK editor.
Formerly a deputy editor, Michael has worked on the company’s key UK and US guidebooks for a number of years.
He replaces Jonathan Rubin, who has left Chambers to work in the marketing team at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher.
Michael (pictured) said:
“I am excited to be taking on such a prestigious role, and am looking forward to working with an excellent team of deputy editors and researchers to take the UK Guide forward to the conclusion of our 2016 research and beyond.”
Rieta Ghosh, the global editorial director at Chambers, who has responsibility across the company’s portfolio of directory products, added:
“I’m delighted we’ve been able to appoint an editor with Michael’s depth of research and editorial experience. While Michael will be spending the next few months getting to know the UK market in greater detail, he already has a head start having supported the UK team throughout his six years with Chambers.”
Working with Michael Perkin on the Chambers UK team are deputy editors Indy Tsang, James Booth, Simon Christian, and Steven Preston.
