Two key legal directories are set to release their latest Latin American products.
Today Chambers & Partners heads to Miami to host its annual Latin America Awards.
The following day, Tuesday, September 10 2013, the publisher makes the new Chambers Latin America directory available online.
While in Miami, the Chambers entourage is also running the latest in its series of general counsel seminars – “What Clients Want – The Perspective of Female GCs”.
Chambers’ GC seminar series has expanded over the last year with an extended roster of events.
The program is now led by Ignacio Abella and Dee Sekar, who is also responsible for the Chambers Women in Law initiative.
Sticking with Latin America, Legal 500 publishes the second edition of its own directory covering that region on Monday, September 9, one day ahead of Chambers’ launch.
The most recent of its major regional guidebooks, Legal 500 announced the launch of a Latin America edition in November 2011.
Research for the first edition began in February 2012, with publication in September 2012.
Legal 500’s Latin America guide is edited by Tim Girven, the former Deputy Editor of Chambers Latin America. (Tim recently joined Twitter @TG_Legal500)
Andres Jaramillo-Mejia, a Colombian-qualified lawyer, heads Chambers Latin America.
