I was disappointed to read that Bloomberg Law is to be merged into the company’s national affairs team.

As far as I can see, Bloomberg Law has made a real splash in the last year or two.
I’ve enjoyed reading its legal news and analysis, particularly the video segments hosted by Lee Pacchia and Spencer Mazyck.
Although I don’t subscribe to the paid-for resources and know-how, I hear good things about it from those that do.
And at least Bloomberg provided some competition to the Lexis Nexis-Thomson Reuters axis in the legal research segment.
Some of the 250 Bloomberg Law journalists are understood to have been offered positions in the Bloomberg BNA division.
Bloomberg acquired The Bureau of National Affairs (BNA) in August 2011 for just under $1 billion.
BNA is based in a number of locations in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
