Back in July, The American Lawyer announced winners in 30 different categories for its first ever global awards.
However, the winners of four additional “grand prizes” had to wait until September 23 2013 to hear the good news at an event at Gotham Hall in New York City.
The following deals and disputes from 2012, say the publishers, “best exemplify the challenges of transnational legal practice. They aim to capture the full gamut of global legal work, regardless of the forum or mode of lawyering, from cross-border M&A to dual equity listings, and from regulatory agencies to the World Trade Organization.”
