Above The Law’s latest Insider Survey of 13,500+ attorneys shows which firms performed best for compensation, hours, training, morale, and culture.
The survey asked respondents to rate their firms in each category on a scale of one through 10.
You can see the full analysis here, but Patton Boggs came out top for compensation, Steptoe and Johnson for hours and training, and Arent Fox for morale and culture.
Notably, the DC results show that the district has the most densely concentrated population of lawyers in the US – with one in 12 residents an attorney.
On the same theme, but elsewhere, the American Lawyer recently published its 2013 midlevel associate survey.
Results indicate that associates are more satisfied than they have been for almost 10 years.
Criteria measured in the study include work interest level, compensation, training, partner/associate relations, and billable hours.
