Euromoney has published the names of the law firms and lawyers shortlisted for the Legal Media Group Europe Women in Business Law Awards.
The awards, say the organizers:
“Celebrate the best initiatives for gender diversity, innovation, minority women, mentoring, work-life balance, pro bono work and talent management. The awards reward not only the best initiatives but those initiatives which are most effectively implemented.”
Sandie Okoro from Barings Asset Management and Baroness Helena Kennedy QC, this year’s Lifetime Achievement recipient, will host the awards ceremony on June 19 2013 at the Dorchester in London.
The European event complements the sister awards in America, which take place on June 5 2013 at the Essex House Hotel in New York.
Four Euromoney Legal Media Group publications – Benchmark Litigation, International Financial Law Review, International Tax Review, and Managing Intellectual Property – also have individual awards dedicated to high-level female in-house counsel.
