Skadden topped the overall ranking of innovative law firms, which were determined by more than 520 interviews in addition to written submissions.
The legal consultant Bruce McEwen has an interesting write-up on the event, held on November 20 2013 in New York, and the broader topic of innovation in legal services.
FT Innovative Lawyers is a joint venture between the Financial Times and the RSG Consulting research company.
The European innovation survey was first published in 2006, while the US FT Innovative Lawyers Report was launched in December 2010.
