Lawyer directory Avvo doubled its staff numbers in 2014 and is set to move into a new larger building in December 2015.
According to the Seattle Times, the online find-a-lawyer marketplace is moving its staff from two sites to come together in seven floors at a building at 8th+Olive in Seattle.
The news site quotes an Avvo spokesperson as saying that the company currently has more than 300 employees, and is advertising for 21 open positions on its website.
That’s some growth.
Remarkably, according to another site, The Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce, Avvo is to double its headcount again in 2015.
Avvo CEO Mark Britton was named Entrepreneur of The Year by the accountant firm EY at an event in June 2015.
