Davis Polk & Wardwell scooped the overall award for Americas Law Firm of The Year at IFLR’s America Awards held at the Essex House hotel in New York on Thursday, March 21 2013.
It was the second year in a row that the Wall Street firm took the top honor.

The IFLR Americas Awards forms part of an annual trio of regional awards held every Spring in Hong Kong (Asia), London (Europe) and New York (Americas).
In recent years, a Middle East event in Dubai has been added to the roster.
The Asia awards took place on February 27 2013, while the European awards are in London on April 10 2013.
